เนื้อหาภายในเกมจะนำผู้เล่นไปสัมผัสความหนาวเหน็บในแ ถบขั้ว โลกเหนือ แถบรัสเซียในช่วง 1968
กับเรื่องราวของสถานีวิจัย Pole 21 ที่มี อเล็กซานเดอร์ เนสเทรฟ(Alexander Nesterov) นักอุตุนิยมวิทยา
ที่ได้สำรวจปรากฏการณ์ North Wind ซึ่งมันเสมือนเป็นปรากฏการณ์ของนิวเคลียร์โบราณอันส่ งผลกับการแตกตัว
และเกาะ เกี่ยวของผลึกน้ำแข็ง ซึ่งน้ำแข็งในบริเวณนั้นได้กลายเป็นสุสานน้ำแข็งขนาด ยักษ์ที่ฝังสิ่งมีชีวิต ทุกอย่างไว้
